"In 2023, we successfully completed the steps leading to the submission of Docoon's registration application to the DGFiP (French Public Finance Directorate) to obtain PDP (
Partner) status. This result was made possible thanks to the commitment, hard work, and quality of our teams."

(*) Since this article was published, Docoon has received temporary registration as a Partner Dematerialization Platform from the French Public Finance Directorate under number 19.

Hello Laurent Mezrahi, to begin with, what is your assessment of the past financial year?

Laurent Mezrahi: As every year, our primary objective was to continue providing our customers with the best possible service by combining quality and availability in both our multi-channel communication and digitization solutions.

We then set ourselves the major goal of registering Docoon with the tax authorities as a future PDP so that we could support our customers and partners with the electronic invoicing reform.

To achieve this, we had to meet several regulatory requirements, including obtaining ISO 27001 certification. The Docoon teams rose to this challenge brilliantly, as we obtained certification in July 2023.

This ISO 27001 certification confirms our commitment to guaranteeing our customers the highest standards of security in the services we deliver, as well as the highest levels of confidentiality in the processing of their data.

It should also be noted that at the beginning of the year, we renewed our ISO 9001 certification for the14th consecutive year, which once again demonstrates the total commitment of the Group's employees to quality management.

Our teams are committed to constantly improving quality—it's in our DNA—and we are therefore fully compliant with the DGFiP's requirements for PDP registration, which demands excellence...

On the commercial front, it has also been a very successful year thanks to the partnerships we have established and strengthened with software publishers and integrators: Xelians, Eurêka Solutions, LCS Group, APLUS Informatique, Divalto, T2I, and others. These partners chose Docoon for its digitization and dematerialization solutions and, of course, to comply with the 2026 reform (¹) on electronic invoicing.

Today, we are recognized as a key player in the market. This result is the fruit of the commitment and performance of the Docoon teams, whom I would like to thank once again!

What other criteria did Docoon validate this year to become a future PDP?

L.M.: We have begun migrating part of our infrastructure to a SecNumCloud environment, and we are among the first future PDP players to have started this project. Docoon will participate in the pilot phase of testing the PDP system with the DGFiP (French Public Finance Directorate) alongside 14 companies and four other publishers.

I would also like to note that the French State Financial IT Agency (AIFE) has rated our application for the PDP pilot phase as excellent. This is a significant step forward, as it will enable us to participate in the PDP trial phase scheduled for 2025.

We then joined the PEPPOL and GENA networks, whose shared goal is to facilitate the exchange of electronic documents within a secure framework at the European level. These steps will enable us to guarantee the interoperability of platforms between PDPs. Finally, a few days ago we were awarded the INFOCERT "PDP Ready phase 1" label.

All these validated elements led us to submit our registration application. We are therefore an official candidate to become a PDP in spring 2024 (*)-. Considering all the steps we have taken to submit this application, it has been a very positive year!

At the end of 2022, the Docoon brand was launched ( ²). It's not that long ago. How do you view this development?

L.M.: Indeed. This new identity has given us greater visibility in the market. By moving from three brands to a single brand, our group has also become more recognizable. The "Docoon" brand accurately describes and reflects who we are—our business: processing all types of documents (DOC), often sensitive, with the utmost care (COCON). The market, our customers, and our partners have responded very positively to this new name.

Let's return to the present and the near future. What does 2024 hold in store?

L.M.: We are obviously very hopeful that we will be registered as a PDP. This would be the logical outcome of the work carried out by all the Docoon teams over the past year.

At the same time, we should soon be finalizing other commercial partnerships with publishers and partners, which will enable us to consolidate our organic growth again this year.

Furthermore, our desire to strengthen our position in the electronic invoicing market and expand our functional scope means that we are always exploring opportunities for mergers with other players, and we expect to announce an acquisition very soon.

My goal is for the quality of our solutions and our expertise to continue to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen our position as a leading player in the electronic invoicing market.

(1) As part of the 2024 finance bill, the government has postponed the widespread adoption of electronic invoicing, which will be implemented in two stages starting in 2026:

PHASE 1: starting September 1, 2026, for all companies receiving goods and for large and medium-sized companies issuing goods.

PHASE 2: starting September 1, 2027, for small and medium-sized enterprises and microenterprises.

(2) In September 2022, the Odyssey Messaging group (specialist in multi-channel communication) and its brands DPii Télécom and Docoon, specialists in digitization and electronic signatures respectively, were merged into a single entity: Docoon.
