Creation of DPII TÉLÉCOM & SERVICES
Claire Isabelle DELANCRAY and Pierre PATUEL set up in Pontoise, France, a publisher of dedicated AS400 FAX broadcasting solutions, which they expanded in 2002 to include dematerialization solutions.
Creation of ALLIANCE MCA (France)
Laurent MEZRAHI creates ALLIANCE MCA, to develop and market communication software and applications (FAX, SMS) for SMEs. ALLIANCE MCA now has over 3,000 customers, who mainly use its software and applications (SafeFax, FaxReception, SafeSMS, FaxGratuit, FaxComptage, etc.) as part of their marketing communications operations.
Creation of ODYSSEY SERVICES Inc (USA)
ODYSSEY SERVICES Inc. was born of the experience of two specialists in the field of electronic communications: Max SLIFER and Dennis SCHMALTZ. Prior to founding ODYSSEY SERVICES Inc, Max SLIFER and Dennis SCHMALTZ held the positions of President and VP Technology, respectively, at XPEDITES Inc. Their experience in the fields of IT and telecoms systems has been honed over more than 25 years, during which they have addressed the needs of small and medium-sized businesses and Fortune 500 companies in the USA. Since 2005, ODYSSEY SERVIVES Inc. has offered a new platform for managing, transmitting and receiving electronic messages, enabling it to provide solutions perfectly suited to its customers' business requirements.
Aware of changing customer needs and constraints, ODYSSEY SERVICES Inc. has chosen to focus its offer on service quality, and to make this notion a true corporate culture.
Creation of ODYSSEY SERVICES France
Emmanuel GACHET and Arnaud GAUDILLERE, after more than 10 years' experience in the telecoms sector, decided to join the ODYSSEY adventure and, with the support of Olivier de PUYMORIN, created ODYSSEY SERVICES France.
Marketing the solution developed by ODYSSEY USA, ODYSSEY France benefits from a natively multi-channel, scalable platform, as well as a strong "quality of service" DNA.
Merger of ALLIANCE MCA and ODYSSEY SERVICES France to create ODYSSEY MESSAGING France
The merger in 2010 will enable us to meet the following strategic objectives:
- significant consolidated sales and seniority in the MULTI-CANAL broadcasting market in France
- a complementary sales offering to address all market segments: VSEs, SMEs and key accounts
- a team of electronic communication specialists
- a natively MULTI-CHANNEL, scalable platform for the integration of all electronic media
- a special relationship with ODYSSEY SERVICES Inc (USA)
Creation of ODYSSEY SERVICE Japan
With the realization that quality of service is a decisive argument for Japanese customers, and with recognized experience in the MULTI-CANAL communications industry, Naohiko OHTA, with the support of Denis TANAKA, decided to join the ODYSSEY adventure and co-founded the Japanese subsidiary in Tokyo with ODYSSEY France. Arnaud LEJEUNE joins ODYSSEY. He takes over as General Manager of the group, and in particular provides structure for the start-up of this international development.
Acquisition by ODYSSEY MESSAGING of ODYSSEY SERVICES Inc.(USA)
As part of the discussions initiated in 2010, concerning the merger of the US and French structures, in order to build an international group and benchmark in the MESSAGING market, Max SLIFER and Dennis SCHMATLZ have decided to integrate ODYSSEY SERVICES Inc (USA) into the ODYSSEY MESSAGING group.
Creation of ODYSSEY SERVICES Canada
Having decided to create a second location in North America, the ODYSSEY Group founded ODYSSEY SERVICES Canada in Toronto on October 21, 2015.
Disposal of ODYSSEY SERVICES Japan
Acquisition of publisher DPII TÉLÉCOM
Founded in 1986 in Pontoise, France, DPII is a historic pioneer in dematerialization, joining the ODYSSEY group. DPII's service offering meets the most stringent market requirements in terms of data security and confidentiality, incorporating RGS** electronic signature certificates, time-stamping (RFC 3161), archiving (Z42-013), and end-to-end quality compliance thanks to ISO & NF certifications. This acquisition enables the ODYSSEY group to strengthen its position in the "digitalization of processes" sector, by integrating dematerialization, electronic signature and digital safe archiving for all types of documents: invoices, payslips, contracts, medical analyses, etc...
Creation of the Docoon brand
The result of the merger between the ODYSSEY group and DPII, this new identity aims to position Doccon as a major provider of digital trust and dematerialization solutions in France.
Docoon will offer a complete range of "360°" solutions combining expertise, technology and security, and will develop an "expert" e-invoicing offering by positioning itself as a Partner Dematerialization Platform (PDP), registered and certified by the French government, enabling it to meet the regulatory requirement for all French companies to use e-invoicing from January1, 2024.
