Creation of DPII TELECOM & SERVICES

Claire Isabelle DELANCRAY and Pierre PATUEL founded a company in Pontoise specializing in AS400 fax transmission solutions, which they expanded in 2002 to include paperless solutions. 

1985

Creation of ALLIANCE MCA (France)

Laurent MEZRAHI founded ALLIANCE MCA to develop and market communication software and applications (FAX, SMS) for small and medium-sized businesses. ALLIANCE MCA now has more than 3,000 customers, who mainly use its software and applications (SafeFax, FaxReception, SafeSMS, FaxGratuit, FaxComptage, etc.) for marketing communications.

1999

Creation of ODYSSEY SERVICES Inc. (USA)

ODYSSEY SERVICES Inc. was born from the experience of two specialists in the field of electronic communications: Max SLIFER and Dennis SCHMALTZ. Before founding ODYSSEY SERVICES Inc., Max SLIFER and Dennis SCHMALTZ worked at XPEDITES Inc., where they held the positions of President and VP of Technology, respectively. Their experience in the fields of IT and telecommunications systems was honed over more than 25 years, during which time they worked with small and medium-sized businesses and Fortune 500 companies in the United States. In 2005, ODYSSEY SERVICES Inc. launched a new platform for managing, sending, and receiving electronic messages, enabling it to offer solutions that perfectly meet the business requirements of its customers.

Aware of changing customer needs and constraints, ODYSSEY SERVICES Inc. has chosen to focus its offering on service quality and to make this concept a true part of its corporate culture.

2005

Creation of ODYSSEY SERVICES France

Emmanuel GACHET and Arnaud GAUDILLERE, after more than 10 years of experience in telecommunications, decided to join the ODYSSEY adventure and, with the support of Olivier de PUYMORIN, created ODYSSEY SERVICES France.

Marketing the solution developed by ODYSSEY USA, ODYSSEY France has benefited since its inception from a natively multi-channel, scalable platform and a strong "quality of service" DNA.

2007

Merger of ALLIANCE MCA and ODYSSEY SERVICES France and creation of ODYSSEY MESSAGING France

The merger carried out in 2010 enables the following strategic objectives to be met:

  • significant consolidated revenue and longstanding presence in the MULTI-CHANNEL broadcasting market in France
  • a complementary commercial offering that addresses all market segments: microbusinesses, SMEs, and large accounts
  • a team of electronic communications specialists
  • A native MULTI-CHANNEL and scalable platform enabling the integration of all electronic media.

Creation of Neovacom

NEOVACOM is a company specializing in information system interoperability: it offers a range of services related to data exchange and use for social housing providers, local authorities, and their suppliers.

Establishment of ODYSSEY SERVICE Japan

Based on the observation that service quality is a decisive factor for Japanese customers, and drawing on their recognized experience in the MULTI-CHANNEL communications industry, Naohiko OHTA, with the support of Denis TANAKA, decided to join the ODYSSEY adventure and co-founded the Japanese subsidiary in Tokyo with ODYSSEY France. Arnaud LEJEUNE joined ODYSSEY. He took over as CEO of the group and was particularly involved in structuring the launch of this international expansion.

2011

Acquisition of ODYSSEY SERVICES Inc. (USA) by ODYSSEY MESSAGING

Creation of ODYSSEY SERVICES Canada

Having decided to establish a second location in North America, the ODYSSEY group founded ODYSSEY SERVICES Canada in Toronto on October 21, 2015.

2015

Acquisition of Neovacom

Dominique FENAIN, an entrepreneur with over 20 years' experience in services and technology, acquires Neovacom through a management buyout.

2016

Launch of Freedz

NEOVACOM is diversifying its business with the development of a SaaS platform called "Freedz," which enables private sector companies to digitize all their supplier invoices and simplify their administrative and financial processes. The company is positioning itself in the supplier invoice digitization market with a view to the reform of electronic invoicing.

2019

Sale of ODYSSEY SERVICES Japan

Having exceeded ¥300 million in annual revenue, ODYSSEY SERVICES Japan has been sold toNEXWAY.CO, a leading local player in the Japanese fax and SMS market.

Acquisition of publisher DPII TÉLÉCOM

A historic pioneer in digitization in France, founded in 1986 in Pontoise, the software publisher DPII has joined the ODYSSEY group. DPII's range of services meets the highest market requirements in terms of data security and confidentiality, as it incorporates RGS** electronic signature certificates, time stamping (RFC 3161), archiving (Z42-013), and end-to-end quality compliance thanks to ISO & NF certifications. This acquisition enables the ODYSSEY group to strengthen its position in the "process digitization" sector by integrating dematerialization, electronic signatures, and digital vault archiving for all types of documents: invoices, payslips/bulletins/payroll records, contracts, medical analyses, etc.

2020

Creation of the Docoon brand

The result of the merger between the ODYSSEY group and DPII, this new identity aims to position Doccon as a leading publisher of digital trust and dematerialization solutions in France.

Docoon will offer a comprehensive range of "360°" solutions combining expertise, technology, and security, and will develop an "expert" electronic invoicing offering by positioning itself as a Partner Dematerialization Platform (PDP), registered and certified by the government, enabling security, and will develop an "expert" electronic invoicing offering by positioning itself as a Partner Dematerialization Platform (PDP), registered and certified by the State, enabling it to meet the regulatory obligation for all French companies to use electronic invoicing as of January1, 2024.

2022

Acquisition of publisher Neovacom

Docoon announces the integration of Neovacom, a publisher of business process digitization solutions for real estate professionals, which will become Docoon.immo in 2025, marking an important first step in its integration into the Docoon group.
