Digital trust is at the heart of Docoon's DNA. For over 30 years, we have been committed to providing our partners and customers (publishers, integrators, and resellers) with the most secure electronic dematerialization solutions on the market. Created in 2001, the Fédération des Tiers de Confiance du Numérique (FnTC) now has more than 160 members who work specifically to promote reliable and secure digitization under its umbrella. That is why Docoon has naturally been a member of the FnTC for almost 30 years. Let's take a closer look at the meaning of our commitment to an organization that, like us, is 100% committed to building a digital ecosystem with the highest possible level of security for its users.
1. The FnTC: an organization at the heart of the digital ecosystem
The FnTC is actively working to strengthen trust in the digital world through various initiatives:
- She initiates discussion groups targeting several aspects of digital trust to establish and promote best practices.
- It develops a set of principles relating to trust and digital technology in the form of "manuals." Among other things, publications have been produced on topics such as electronic archiving, electronic authentication, electronic voting procedures, traceability, accurate document digitization, and customer identity verification (KYC).
- It is involved in standardization processes at both the national and international levels, thanks to close collaboration with AFNOR (Association Française de Normalisation) andISO (International Organization for Standardization).
- It regularly hosts events such as after-work gatherings, online sessions, and workshops to highlight the latest advances in digital trust.
- She works closely with public bodies, liaises with government departments, contributes to various requests, and keeps an eye on parliamentary activities.
- She has established an advanced training program at the University of La Rochelle, unique in Europe, entitled "Master's Degree in Digital Law – Specialization in Trusted Third Parties." This program is taught by academics and members of the FnTC. In addition, the Federation collaborates with the Chair of Digital Trust at the University of Corsica Pasquale Paoli in Corte.
2. Docoon is an active member of the FnTC: reassurance for our customers
As an active member of the FnTC, Docoon has the opportunity to participate in discussion groups and workshops dedicated to various aspects of digital trust, allowing us to exchange expertise on current best practices. This provides us with a privileged forum for discussion among peers committed to strengthening digital trust standards.
By participating in events such as after-work gatherings, webinars, and workshops, the FnTC gives us the opportunity to identify and follow the latest trends and advances in the field of digital trust. This allows us to monitor the market for the latest technological advances and ensure that we are up to date with the regulatory environment. For our customers, this is a source of reassurance: they know they can rely on a partner that guarantees reliable and secure practices, and that knows and interacts personally with market players. It should be noted that the FnTC is organized into various representative groups: certified or accredited trusted service providers and publishers, including Docoon; experts and user representatives; institutions and regulated professions (e.g., Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, Compagnie nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes, La Banque Postale); users of trusted services; etc.
3. Digital trust at the heart of leaders' concerns
Docoon, a leading publisher of digital trust and dematerialization solutions, shares the same values and knowledge as the FnTC in contributing to the development of the digital transition with complete confidence. There is strong market demand for reliable and secure solutions; digital trust is of paramount importance for businesses.
This point was made by Yannick Ollivier, President of the CNCC (Compagnie nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes), in an editorial on digital trust: " With most economic activity now relying on information systems and digital infrastructure, the concept of 'digital trust' must be a key concern for business leaders. It is a matter of value, sustainability and, ultimately, growth. Trust is the best fuel for growth. This statement is equally valid for digital trust, which is essential to the proper functioning of all organizations—companies, associations, institutions, etc.—and the economy in general. "
Resolutely forward-looking, Docoon is a digital services company committed to ensuring data confidentiality, availability, and integrity. We have just been certified ISO 27001. We are therefore committed to working with our FnTC partners to build a reliable and sustainable digital ecosystem!
