Mergers and acquisitions are boosting the tech sector in France. They enable players to accelerate innovation, acquire key skills, and consolidate their position in the face of increased competition. In the second half of 2025, this trend is set to continue with strategic transactions such as the acquisition of Shine, a fast-growing European fintech unicorn offering electronic invoicing, accounting, business account, and payroll software to small businesses, by Cegid, a publisher of management software for finance, human resources, and retail. The merger was announced at the end of November and described as the first acquisition of this scale in the history of French fintechs " by the Fintech Observatory.
The 10 largest M&A deals in the tech sector in France in the second half of 2025:
- Cantor – acquisition of Symolia
Cantor, a French company specializing in IT and data engineering since 1996, has acquired the Symolia Group, based in La Défense in the Hauts-de-Seine department (92), which offers a wide range of digital services and has cutting-edge expertise in payment systems, digital technology, and finance. The newly created entity is now targeting €40 million in revenue.
- Sopra Steria – acquisition of Neocase
Sopra Steria (2024 revenue: €5.8 billion), a major player in the European technology sector, finalized the acquisition of Neocase at the end of the year to strengthen Sopra HR's activities. The acquisition of Neocase is part of Sopra HR's strategy to strengthen its position as a global and innovative provider of HR solutions. Neocase generated revenue of approximately €16 million in 2024. Neocase has been consolidated since December 1, 2025.
- OCI – acquisition of X9000
Lyon-based company X9000, a key player in the integration of high-availability infrastructures (18 employees, 2024 turnover: €12.2 million), joins the OCI Group – 1,350 employees, 35 locations, 15,000 customers – an expert in all aspects of IT and digital technology.
- LeHibou – acquisition of Adonys
LeHibou, a platform specializing in IT freelance intermediation, has taken an important step forward with the announcement of its acquisition of Adonys Security, a cybersecurity consulting firm. With this acquisition, the group's cyber division will reach nearly €30 million, representing a significant share of its overall business. LeHibou is now forecasting consolidated revenue of €150 million in 2025.
- Onepoint – acquisition of IN-IT
The Onepoint Group, which supports major transformations in businesses and public sector organizations, has acquired IN-IT, a consulting firm specializing in supporting the digitization of business processes and organizational transformation, and voted ServiceNow Partner of the Year 2022 in the EMEA region. With this acquisition, Onepoint strengthens its ability to integrate AI into its clients' business processes.
- SNS Security – acquisition of SaycurIT
SNS Security, a recognized specialist in information system protection and managed services, announced in September the strategic acquisition of SaycurIT, a Paris-based company specializing in cybersecurity integration, auditing, and consulting. This first external growth operation marks a key milestone in the history of SNS Security and confirms its ambition to become one of the leading players in the French cybersecurity market.
- SoftNext – acquisition of Numeria
Jean-Charles Ribard, founder of Numeria, a recognized independent player in the field of document digitization and archiving (HR, finance, etc.) for companies in various sectors, has decided to join forces with SoftNext, a group of B2B-specialized software publishers. Based in the Paris region, the Numeria group publishes its own digital solutions (ProDIP and MonCoffre) and markets third-party solutions such as Digiposte and Argus. The comprehensive range of SaaS solutions enables the group to cover the entire spectrum of a company's document management needs, from print publishing to digitization and digital archiving.
- Sofia Developpement – acquisition of Logicmax
Sofia Développement (“Sofia”), a leading e-health provider serving healthcare professionals, announces the acquisition of Logicmax, a software solution dedicated to nurses, physical therapists, and speech therapists. Sofia's acquisition of Logicmax is part of the group's ambitious acquisition program launched when IK Partners joined the existing shareholders, Extens, Capital Croissance, and Bpifrance, and follows the acquisition of Comptasanté, a leading online accounting firm dedicated to healthcare professionals, in March 2022.
- Parquest – equity investment in Spectrum Groupe
Parquest, a recognized player in private equity in France in the mid-market segment, announces that it has acquired a stake in Spectrum Group (120 employees, 2024 revenue: €32 million), a digital transformation consulting firm and Platinum partner of software publisher Atlassian. This transaction, carried out alongside the management team led by its founder and CEO, Ali Ouni, aims to support Spectrum Group's strong growth momentum. Spectrum has experienced exceptional organic growth of more than 50% per year since 2021.
- Evolem – acquisition of Hosteur
The division dedicated to hosting/cloud and digital infrastructure services at EVOLEM, a family investment holding company created in 1997 by Bruno Rousset, founder of April, is expanding internationally with the acquisition of Hosteur (15 employees, turnover: €5 million), a Franco-Swiss company specializing in cloud computing, AI, data management and backup, and domain name management (ICANN accreditation).

Busy times for Le Groupe Septeo (3,000 employees, 2024 turnover: €420 million), a leading software publisher in Europe, which signed on the 2ndsecond 2025. In order:
- Acquisition of Teogest, a SaaS software publisher for accountants and businesses, which combines pre-accounting, accounting, electronic invoicing, financial management, and internal management.
- Acquisition of Wedof, a platform specializing in certification process management and relations with training partners. This transaction consolidates the Septeo group's Education division, created at the end of 2024, and confirms its ambition to cover the entire value chain of education and vocational training.
- Integration of Bylaw, a next-generation artificial intelligence solution dedicated to automating document and financial processing.
- Acquisition of MMCréation, an agency specializing in website design and digital solutions for the luxury hotel industry. By joining the Business Unit Septeo Digital & Services business unit, MMCréation strengthens the group's strategy: to develop a cross-functional division designed to maximize the online visibility and commercial performance of all Septeo customers.
- Integration of proptech INCH into a transformation project that has already been underway for several months at Septeo ADB. With its "Inch" solution and "Lobby" back office, the platform enhances internal business developments focused on the digitization of business processes and customer relations.
- Signing of an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of stp.one, a strategic European player in LegalTech software, from BU Bregal Unternehmerkapital ("BU"), the largest mid-cap investor based in the DACH region.
- Acquisition of AquaO, a French software publisher renowned for its solutions dedicated to the worlds of thalassotherapy, thermalism, balneotherapy, spas, and wellness centers. This strategic move strengthens Septeo Hospitality's position as a leader in the wellness software market (already firmly established thanks to its long-standing product Nymphea).

The ISAGRI Group (turnover: €370 million, 3,300 employees), based in Tillé in the Oise region of France, specializes in agricultural management software and recently announced the acquisition of Carbon Diag, a specialist in agricultural and environmental data analysis. Carbon Diag is an online tool for diagnosing and managing carbon and environmental footprints, used on 2,500 farms and 300,000 hectares.

DOCOON strengthens its position in electronic invoicing

In 2024, the Group acquired Neovacom, a specialist in the automation of administrative and financial processes for real estate and construction professionals.
In 2025,Neovacom changed its nameto Docoon.immo. This new identity reinforces its affiliation with the Docoon group and affirms its unique positioning in the real estate and construction sectors.
