Long-standing partners Docoon, a leading publisher of digital trust and digitization solutions, and Xelians, a specialist in archive management and software solutions for digital transition, have decided to take their partnership to the next level.
With $86 million in revenue, 35 storage sites, 3 data centers across France, and more than a billion archived documents, Xelians is France's leading provider of physical archive outsourcing services, with nearly 45 years of expertise in comprehensive document management. In response to the advent of digital technology and the needs of its customers, the company has continuously developed its digital activities in order to offer businesses concrete solutions to the challenges of digitizing their business processes, particularly through EDM, ECM, and BPO integration solutions.
After several joint customer successes, Docoon and Xelians have decided to take their partnership further by combining their expertise to address the challenges of tax digitization.
On the eve of the 2024 reform on electronic invoicing, we are combining our expertise with Xelians to jointly meet all the needs of the document chain. With this strategy, we aim to work with our partner to support all French companies by offering a service that provides the highest levels of quality, security, and certification on the market.
1. A service offering adapted to the new legislation on electronic invoicing
Today, the legal framework strongly encourages the digitization of documents (2024 for electronic invoices) and requires them to be stored for long periods (10 years for invoices).
In light of this observation, Xelians has developed Xelians Archives Management, also known as X-AM, an electronic archiving platform that guarantees public and private organizations the highest level of security on the market for archiving, built around the VITAM core system developed by government services. X-AM is the market's benchmark solution, certified NF 461 and NF Z42-013, thus guaranteeing the probative value of document storage, operated by Xelians in its ISO 27001 infrastructure.
Its goal: to offer an innovative, high-performance platform that guarantees the security, durability, and integrity of binding documents. Upstream, Xelians also enables companies to approach digitization with complete peace of mind thanks to its NF544-certified faithful digitization services.
For its part, Docoon, with more than 35 years of experience, is one of the pioneers of document digitization in France. The company ranks among the top 100 publishers, has more than 2,500 customers worldwide, and digitizesmore than 300 million documents each year. Our solution covers the entire document chain with features such as time stamping, electronic invoicing, electronic signatures, and the Chorus Pro hub.
Our technological partnership thus enables French companies to approach mandatory digitization with confidence, relying on partners with proven solutions that offer optimal guarantees in terms of expertise, certifications, and data security.
2.Processing and storage of electronic invoices
The electronic invoicing reform requires companies to completely digitize their invoicing with new standards. Invoices must be archived for 10 years according to the Commercial Code, and for 6 years according to tax law. Our technological partnership with Xelians allows us to precisely meet all regulatory requirements, from digitization to electronic archiving, with a very high quality of service.
Olivier Morin, Pre-Sales Engineerat Xelians, said: " This new partnership once again demonstrates our ability to provide functional solutions that meet the challenges of document digitization. We are very pleased to be partnering with Docoon to offer French companies a secure end-to-end solution for processing and storing electronic invoices."
Victor Delancray, Sales Director at Docoon, confirms: "We are delighted with this partnership, which reflects our strong belief that French companies need to rely on long-term technology partners offering the highest levels of certification in order to move forward with confidence. The aim is to guarantee them total management of their documents at all levels by professionals whose vocation is to offer highly qualified services that are also financially accessible, with simple, intuitive, and probative solutions."
