APLUS Informatique, creator of the TRAPLUS Transport Management System ( TMS ) software dedicated to the road transport and freight industries, has chosen the future Docoon PDP to support its customers. APLUS Informatique will therefore offer the future Docoon PDP as a priority to all its customers and prospects . This is a strong commitment on the part of APLUS Informatique, which intends to position itself, thanks to Docoon, as a pioneer in turnkey management solutions in the transport sector in response to the new legislation.

For the Docoon teams, after LCS Group and Eurêka Solutions, this is another great reference that illustrates our commitment and technical expertise in becoming the government's future Dematerialization Partner Platform (PDP).

1. APLUS Informatique, a leading publisher of software solutions for the TMS sector

With over 45 years of experience serving road freight transport companies, 400 sites equipped for 5,000 users across France and Benelux, and strong partnerships for its information system (IBM, ACMI, and ADISTA), APLUS Informatique is now a leading player in the TMS sector. The company works with companies such as XPO, Transalliance, Guisnel, PHM Group, MTA, Dimotrans, etc.

Its TRAPLUS ERP solution manages all the specific needs of this market: from EDI order exchange to transport optimization, after-sales service management, and invoicing. With the 2024 finance law fast approaching, the publisher wanted to be able to rely on a partner of choice to position itself as a pioneer in turnkey management solutions in the transport sector in the face of the new legislation.

However, the company, which has been working with Docoon for several years on electronic invoicing, has been able to find ways, thanks to its partner, to meet the demands of its customers who want to digitize their invoices and thus accelerate their digital transformation.

2. A natural and serene choice

With a proven solution based on French expertise and nearly 40 years of experience in document digitization, Docoon is particularly well positioned to be among the very first PDPs (Partner Digitization Platforms) to be named in the near future. Docoon enables the management of the entire document chain through features such as time stamping, electronic invoicing, electronic signatures, and interconnection with the national platform (Chorus Pro) and other international platforms (Europe: Italy, Luxembourg, etc.).

Committed to its ERP software publisher partners, Docoon has been able to meet the expectations of its long-standing partner, Aplus Informatique. Today, all APLUS Informatique customers wishing to digitize and/or automate their invoicing processes can rely on Docoon.  First, TRAPLUS issues the invoice, which is automatically sent to Docoon in PDF format via an API interface once it has been validated by the customer. Docoon is then responsible for the legal processing, i.e., time stamping, signing, archiving with probative value, and distribution to APLUS Informatique customers.

As Jean-Christophe Dupuis, CEO of APLUS Informatique, explains: "We very quickly opted for the Docoon solution, which was the ideal answer to our certification needs. Although we manage invoices in PDF format, some of our customers also want to benefit from RGS certification. Furthermore, Docoon is one of the first players to have developed a portal for Chorus Pro, which several of our customers need in order to invoice the public sector. Today, by positioning itself as a future PDP, Docoon enables its partners, particularly ERP publishers, to benefit from the expertise of a long-standing and sustainable player."

3. Docoon increases the added value delivered by its partners

Docoon's DNA is imbued with a commitment to high-quality service. We guarantee the quality of the services that our partners provide to their own customers and users. By choosing Docoon to meet its electronic invoicing needs, APLUS Informatique is increasing the added value of its services to its customers in the freight transport sector.

All electronic invoices processed via Docoon are certified as legally valid and archived in a digital vault for 10 years. These are significant advantages that have made all the difference.

Thanks to this collaboration, TRAPLUS users now have automatic shipment tracking and invoice traceability. Not to mention faster processing and a real simplification of electronic invoice creation. A third of APLUS Informatique's customers have already been won over by the solution and use it regularly.

4. Docoon shows strong determination: anticipating the 2024 finance law

Tomorrow, with the finance bill, the government will impose:

(*) The DGFiP (Directorate General of Public Finances) announced in a press release on July 28, 2023, that the implementation date of the reform had been postponed indefinitely. This date will be set as part of the process of adopting the 2024 finance law.

As part of this reform, companies will have to comply with the DGFIP's complex specifications, particularly with regard to e-invoicing. This means sending invoices in one of three standard formats: Factur-x, CII, or UBL. In addition, for e-reporting, companies will have to be able to send the following to the authorities: B2C sales, international B2B sales, and payment statuses for sales subject to VAT on receipts (services).

These are particularly important and demanding requirements in the field of freight transport. Several of APLUS Informatique's clients, including a number of large companies, will be affected by the first deadline. Through this new collaboration, APLUS Informatique has decided to anticipate the new legislation and is working with Docoon to implement Factur-X. APLUS Informatique is thus underlining its commitment to supporting its clients in order to enable them to approach this turning point in the best possible way.

As for Docoon, this partnership is in line with its development strategy, as Victor Delancray, Sales Director at Docoon, explains : "We are particularly delighted with this new collaboration. Having the trust of APLUS Informatique, a leading publisher in the TMS sector, demonstrates our ability to meet the most demanding needs. This agreement gives them a particularly interesting competitive advantage and allows us to develop our presence in a sector undergoing rapid transformation. Once again, we are demonstrating our ability to support ERP software publishers of all kinds."
