Since October 15 and the government's announcement of a significant reduction in the scope of the public invoicing portal (PPF), software publishers in France have been faced with the crucial challenge of finding a service provider registered as a "Partner Dematerialization Platform (PDP)". The goal: to be able to offer their customers and prospects an effective solution for electronic invoice management that is 100% compliant with the reform.

Docoon, a leading publisher of digital trust and dematerialization solutions in France, registered as a PDP (Public Digital Service Provider), in accordance with its "partner" strategy, has forged a number of partnerships with ERP and CRM software publishers. Here , we hear from Stéphane DUCAS, Founder and CEO of ProGesSi, who was looking for a PDP-approved publisher for his clients that had a thorough understanding of the ins and outs of the reform. Hello Stéphane DUCAS, could you briefly introduce ProGesSi and its activities?

Stéphane DUCAS:  ProGesSi is the company that publishes the software of the same name. It is a management tool dedicated to Digital Services Companies (ESN). ProGesSi includes a set of integrated and consistent functions for each business line. Accessible via the web and mobile devices, its interfaces are designed for intuitive navigation and quick learning.

We offer "high-level management," i.e., management tailored to companies with a complex business framework: multi-company groups, groups with foreign subsidiaries, companies with multi-currency cash flow, consolidated accounts, etc. Since its creation in 2020, the company has been growing rapidly. Our solution addresses the lack of powerful management tools designed for these companies.

Very well. What led you to choose a PDP electronic invoicing solution?

S.D.: I noticed that the prospects we meet ask us about the electronic invoicing reform. Our customers, on the other hand, ask us much less, if at all. However, our role is to continue to provide our customers with a solution to help them manage their accounting, payments, invoicing, etc. It was therefore inconceivable not to provide them with a tool capable of issuing electronic invoices that comply with the reform...

We must be proactive in anticipating our customers' needs so that they always have a compliant tool. We understood that we needed to rely on a publisher specializing in this reform, which is constantly evolving. Even if we could do it ourselves, it would be very time-consuming to design and update a compliant PDP solution for a reform whose contours are becoming clearer as it progresses.

Why did you choose Docoon as your service provider for the electronic invoicing reform?

S.D.: We targeted two or three providers, and Docoon left us with the best impression. We want a provider who can reassure us that we will be able to comply on time and who has a thorough understanding of the subject. It's easy to feel "lost" when faced with this reform, and having a partner who specializes in this field and is equipped to adapt to the government's requirements is a key asset.

How many invoices can be processed with the Docoon Invoice solution? Docoon Invoice solution? S.D.: 10,000 to 15,000 invoices per month, without taking into account the increase in our business.  How did the compliance work go?

S.D.: We have finalized the "Docoon" test plan for bringing our invoice flow into compliance with the mandatory electronic invoicing reform in 2026. This compliance process was carried out in three stages. During a workshop, ProGesSi first completed a 50-question qualification questionnaire. For each of the 26 use cases identified by the publisher, our development teams then began their work, using examples of invoices provided by Docoon. Once the work was completed, ProGesSi sent Docoon the invoice examples corresponding to each case. Docoon was then able to verify the technical and functional compliance of these files with the Factur-X formatformat.

This is an important first step toward enabling ProGesSi customers to benefit from Docoon's PDP directly in their business applications (API integration). collaboration with Docoon is going well. When we have a question, our contact person is responsive.

Thank you for answering our questions, Stéphane.
