Presentation
Digital transformation and the dematerialization of workflows are also challenges for the public sector and tax authorities.
Already in force since January 1, 2020 for invoices to the public sector, the sending of invoices in dematerialized form will become more widespread with the obligation of electronic invoicing in exchanges between VAT-registered companies established in France.
Mandatory electronic invoicing, originally scheduled for 2024, has been postponed, but compliance is a major undertaking that needs to be anticipated today!
The primary aim of this reform is to simplify and control companies' VAT reporting obligations in order to combat tax fraud.
The second is, in the long term, to make companies more competitive by enabling them to benefit from all the advantages associated with electronic invoicing: reduced costs (printing, postage, etc.), optimized processing times, automated reminders to reduce payment times, archiving and tax compliance, etc.

What are the legal requirements for electronic invoicing?
Any company can digitize any document, including invoices.
However, in order to have the same legal value as the paper original, the document must comply with a certain number of standards:
- be on a secure platform with HTTPS access.
- be time-stamped, and each consultation must be traceable.
- 10-year electronic archiving compliant with standard Z42-013 and certified NF 461.
Invoice dematerialization standards :
For invoices to be recognized for tax purposes, dematerialization must take place at source, before printing, and offer guarantees:
- of opposability (time-stamping RFC 3161).
- integrity and identity (eIDAS qualified electronic signature & RGS**).
- (Z42-013) 10 years.
The formats used must be durable: PDF NATIF or XML, EDI.
Our solution addresses all these formats, integrates a qualified eIDAS & RGS** electronic signature and archives invoices for 10 years.
